For the Fourth we got all our American (and non-American) friends together and had an afternoon picnic that lasted till the sun went down and the amazing orange full moon came up. We grilled, people brought great salads, patriotic desserts, and had good German beer. Michael got a frisbee on our trip, which we were never able to use because it was too windy, but it was a real hit at the picnic. There were a bunch of other Americans picnicking there as well! One group had sparklers they brought out when the sun went down, and other group was playing "Red Rover". :) Funny...there are so many Americans in Berlin!
So viertel von Juli in Deutschland!!!! Bei uns waren wir hier zusammen - auch ihre Schwesteren und Freuden, Jack und Paul. Vielleicht nächste Jahr werdst du auch hier zu sein!
